I have enjoyed the play a lot. It is the kind of play that leaves you with the feeling: "live is beautiful" I think the acting was quite successful, Mira exaggerated somewhat her role but it is probably due to the director´s instructions and anyhow it was funny, most of the people in the group enjoyed it tremendously and I did too, (I am afraid that at the end of the day I´d rather a good laugh than hard thinking). Jorge Sanz was better than I expected. The theatre, which is a beautiful one indeed, was packed full, it was amazing to see even the upper circle swarming with people! Everybody was delighted, so I recommend it if you want to spend a good time, have a good laugh and go to bed with a smile. Ana I couldn´t talk to you did you like it?

I agree with Marta. The play is funny, unimportant (in this case I prefer the Spanish word: intranscendente) but makes you laugh. Some people in the theatre even laughed really a lot. I’m a little bit more serious and was more moderate, even so there were two or three moments in which I exploded with laughter.
There were two actors that I liked less: Rosa Boladeras, the main character, and Álvaro Roig, the neighbor. But, in general, the acting was correct and the set perfect. Unlike the plays we have seen lately, there is not in this a strident music or some “innovations” by the director which spoil the play (than God!). You are not asked to do an effort to understand anything or imagine anything; you can sit, relax and see the play, simple but effective, believe me!
I strongly recommend it if you want to spend an evening having a good, relaxing and funny time.

I liked the play, it was funny and easy to enjoy; the different characters were nicely depicted and each role represented really well the different problems that appear as you move along the path of "life": the lonely mother whose daughter has got married, the daughter trying to help Mummy find a new life, the husband-wife adaptation to married life, and the crazy neighbour who has to find someone to pay his bills. Mira was by far the best but I find that she is better with dramatic roles. Most people enjoyed it. We had a very loud neighbour, who came with our group, laughed heartly all the time, and foretold some scenes;I would be very grateful if in the future she expressed her enjoyment in a less audible way:I´ve come to understand and sympathize with Mr. Fairlie!
