I liked the colour of the cosy staging, the contrast of the white and the red in the dress of maggie, but they failed to transmit the passion of Maggie for her handsome husband as was the case in the film.
Tthe mother seemed to me to be a lesbic figure and can undoubtedly say that rich women did not wear hair like that then.
Moreover the fellatio showing a flacid appendix and hanging boobs was totally unnecessary:" AS LONG AS MORE PEOPLE WILL PAY ADMISSION TO A THEATRE TO SEE A NAKED BODY THAN TO SEE A NAKED BRAIN, THE DRAMA WILL LANGUISH" (Bernard Shaw)
